As shown in previous devlogs, the mobile version of Soundless is wider and has two gutters on the side when you’re in-game. The purpose of these gutters is twofold:
To have a place to put the quick menu, leaving more room for what is going to be larger text.
To have a place to put the window title changes that are only possible on PC.
All of the left-hand gutter words are now extracted assets. The way that the gutters work is that they’re always-present, so a player will always be able to access the quick menu and also see their “progress”.
I woke up late today and work things came up, so later tonight I will complete the enlargening of the game menu assets.
